Cette semaine, pas de look de la semaine à cause notre météo polaire mais accrochez-vous bien Mesdemoiselles car nous partons tout de suite visiter les méandres des premières pièces de la nouvelle collection… Je dois vous avouer que c’est exactement ce dont j’avais besoin pour me réchauffer un peu car à l’heure à laquelle je vous parle, le thermomètre frôle les -10 degrés.

This week, due to the freezing weather, I have decided not to do a look-of-the-week, but instead, to take you through some of the first pieces in our new collection. I have to admit, I really needed this to warm me up a bit, because as I write this, outside it’s -10°C !

It’s a good way to escape, don’t you agree?

At the moment, it is crazy in our Paris showroom. Whilst our boutiques are putting out on display the new S/S 2012 collection, the showroom, as always, is one step ahead. It is currently home to next winter’s collection. As I write these very words, buyers from all over the world are flocking to our showroom to discover the new collection and choose the pieces that will be available in their shops in six months time. Last Thursday, it was Sessun’s Paris’s turn to make the selection for their boutique and place their order. That might come as a bit of a surprise to you to learn that each Sessun boutique makes their own selection. That is why you don’t necessarily find the same pieces in all of our boutiques, because each one has their own personality, their own clients and their own vision ….

So I spied on Johanna and Lea for the day and listened in to their conversations about fabrics, colours and clothes…And make sure I don’t catch you trying to take a sneaky look at next winter’s collection, it’s top secret!

It is with great joy that I present you with the first Spring / Summer 2012 look-of-the-week….To celebrate the occasion I have left nothing to chance and have gathered all the necessary ingredients for a perfect look. First, there is Lea, on top form, then there are the clothes “fresh out of the oven”, and finally a nice dose of sunshine and plenty of smiles…and there you have it.
